So much depends upon…
So much depends upon
my well worn running shoes.
They have carried me many miles,
and have traveled to a plethora of places.
These shoes help me escape the demands of the “real world,”
and enjoy time with my Creator.
My trusty “kicks” bring freedom and energy into each new day.
The Life of a Sunflower
You may not believe me,
but just last week, this wilted sunflower was a bright and healthy creature.
Its brilliant golden hues and strong, tall stature stood as a beacon of radiance to onlookers.
The sunflower put a smile on my face and brightened my day.
In a matter of no time,
the once budding plant transformed into a withered and lifeless creation.
Let this be a reminder to cherish all of the small moments in life;
they do not last forever.
Sunset on the Mountain
Watching the sunset
On the top of a mountain,
Is quite breathtaking.
The beautiful sight
Reminds me how small I am
And how big God is.
